The Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide Brings You The Official Lebanese Top 20 The Week of January 19, 2014

After a staggering 7 weeks reign over The Official Lebanese Top 20, “The Monster” from Eminem & Rihanna slips one notch to Number 2, and is replaced at the Top by British-Irish boy band One Direction with “The Story Of My Life”. This mid-tempo, guitar-driven folk-pop song needed exactly 9 weeks to reach Number 1, but with an average of 49 plays per week / per radio station (Figures by Ipsos Lebanon), it is probably going to remain on Top for another week at least…

From the 3 New Entries of this week’s chart, we have “Light Me Up” from English singer / songwriter Birdy at Number 13, “Happy” from American singer and producer Pharrell Williams at Number 16, and the wonderful “Night Call” at Number 18 originally by French electro house artist Kavinski now covered by English band London Grammar.

On OLT20 this week we still have have 5 Local and Regional artists, and 15 Occidental ones!

Note that you can check out the latest videos from your favorite singers on the new TV show “Hits N Bits / OLT20” on Future TV every Friday evening around 11:00pm, and Sunday evening at around 7pm for the re-run.
