Fury Will Now Open One Month Earlier

Now with some less competition this coming October as Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Interview and The Book Of Life shifted to next year, it’s only smart to move up an award-contender for October, and so did Sony by bringing up Fury which was set for release this November facing stiff competition from Hunger Games, Interstellar. Fury will now bow in theaters on October 16 (the film was already set for October 30 release in Lebanon), to portentially face Annabelle and The Judge, which are both also looking for new local dates. This move proves that the studio is confident with the film that is led by Brad Pitt and it’s a perfect date for early award contenders as all previous  winners such as Argo, Gravity and 12 Years A Slave, opened the month of October. So this one won’t be a surprise if it goes on to take home a few trophies. If you still haven’t check out the film’s trailer below:

New Details On The Good Dinosaur

Pixar has a great deal of movies lined-up for us including a Dinosaur film, and today a little bit more on this story has been released via 24 frames with their interview with director Bob Peterson who said that “It’s time to do a movie where you get to know the dinosaur, what it’s really like to be a dinosaur and to be with a dinosaur.”  “If there’s a “good” dinosaur, after all, there have to be bad ones. The title is deceptively simple, It has more meaning than it seems.” said co-director Peter Sohn. The Good Dinosaur is on pic that will change the way people see Dinosaurs, which I am actually looking forward to see. The film is currently set for release in theaters across Lebanon on May 29 2014. Here is the official synopsis: What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Catching Fire has found a new great director recently in order for the production to begin as soon as possible, for a November release next year. And now in an unsurprising move Lionsgate has retitled the movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, in order to make sure that the movie fans who have not heard of the book, or simply haven’t read it, knows that  Catching Fire is actually the sequel to The Hunger Games as if they wouldn’t know from the cast or the trailers…The film stars, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Here is a short synopsis to the sequel:  Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.
